Welcome to the Cedar Mountain Canteen
We are an employee-owned public house & listening venue located at the gateway of DuPont State Forest in Cedar Mountain, NC. We are a family-friendly, pet-friendly (all dogs on leash please) public home on the Little River.
We have a variety of beverages including draft beer, wine and cider, and packaged alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (over 150 in our bottle shop.)
We host music 5 days a week and community potlucks most Thursdays and Mondays.
We strive to be a waste-free facility. We ask that you pack in what you bring and to be prepared to take your pet waste with you as well. We encourage folks to bring their own glasses and if joining a potluck we ask you bring your own reusable place setting. We always have some available if you need them and are happy to share.
We have access to the Little River and it is a wonderful spot to cool off.
We welcome all! We celebrate diversity and are always looking for ways to bring more of it to our public home and garden. We welcome you and look forward to seeing you walk through the door.
Our Saturday hours are changing. Music from 7 – 9 pm
It is that time of year when we move our Saturday evening show to 7 – 9 pm and our closing time to sometime after 9. Looking forward to seeing you.
